Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Hampton, VA is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert automotive knowledge and exceptional service for DIY customers. You will assist in battery installations, testing, and wiper services, while maintaining store standards and contributing to sales goals.

The role requires strong product knowledge, proficiency with store systems, and reliable key holder duties. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with customer transactions.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• ASE certification preferred, not required.
• English speaking; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock).
