Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in Virginia. The role delivers expert part knowledge and store systems proficiency to assist DIY customers both in-store and by phone.

You will drive sales, perform battery testing/installations, wiper services, and support inventory control within a full-time schedule. Required are 3-5 years of automotive parts experience and a valid driver’s license; ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with customer transactions.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• English speaking/writing; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Key holder responsibilities: opening/closing, safety tasks.
• Assist in store inventory including cycle counts and back stock.
• Maintain store cleanliness and appearance.
