Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY sales with expert knowledge of store systems, parts, and automotive diagnostics. The role emphasizes customer service, product sourcing, and hands-on DIY services in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will help customers locate parts, perform basic installations, and maintain store standards while working a schedule that may include evenings and weekends. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Valid driver’s license
• ASE certification preferred
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and manuals

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
