Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert automotive parts knowledge and high‑level service to DIY customers in-store and by phone. You will perform battery installations, wiper replacements, and other services while achieving sales goals.

The role requires strong parts knowledge, diagnostic ability, and proficiency with store systems. A valid driver’s license is required; ASE P2 certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent knowledge of automotive parts and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers in store and on the phone.
• Meet sales goals and customer service objectives.
• Handle DIY services like battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store appearance and safety; perform key holder duties.
• Assist with inventory, cycle counts, back stock, and stock organization.
