Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is hiring a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers in person and on the phone. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and parts sourcing, with capability for diagnostics and project assistance.

This is a full-time position with responsibilities including opening/closing duties and inventory support. Candidates should have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and proven sales ability, plus ASE readiness or certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with customer transactions
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and safety)
• Assist inventory: cycle counts, back stock, and truck put away
