Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and sell parts in-store and by phone. The role requires strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts sourcing, and inventory control, with a focus on delivering top-notch customer service and sales results.

The candidate should have 3-5 years of automotive parts experience, be able to operate POS and inventory systems, and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, catalogs, and manuals; write simple notes.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
