Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert product knowledge and store system fluency. The role emphasizes GAS2 selling, achieving sales goals, and handling advanced parts and service tasks in a full-time capacity.

You will perform battery tests and installations, wiper installs, and assist with inventory, while maintaining high customer service standards. A 3–5 year parts background and a valid license are required; ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past fulfillment of customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred.
• Able to read safety rules, parts catalogs and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, open/close duties.
• Assist in store inventory processes and back stock management.
• Maintain store cleanliness and operate POS and systems.
