Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Randolph, MA is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to assist DIY customers with parts and service needs. You will support advanced automotive knowledge, operate store systems, and perform key holder duties, inventory tasks, and essential DIY services.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of auto parts experience, strong English communication, and familiarity with POS and parts lookup systems. ASE certification is a plus, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• ASE certification preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and manuals
• Proficient with store systems and inventory processes

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Perform key holder duties including safety, opening/closing tasks
• Assist in store inventory processes and cycle counts
• Keep area clean and organized, including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot
