Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a full-time Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and sales. The role requires deep knowledge of automotive parts, store systems, and customer service, with opportunities to lead inventory and POS operations in a busy retail environment.

3–5 years of parts experience and strong communication are essential, along with the ability to read catalogs and safety instructions. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• Ase certification preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read safety rules, parts catalogs and instruction manuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery testing and installations.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Handle key holder duties such as open/close tasks.
• Assist in inventory processes and stock parts.
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems.
• Use diagnostic equipment for DIY services and repairs.
