Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY sales and parts services. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and DIY service procedures, with opportunities to source from multiple channels and maintain inventory control.

The position is full time and involves high customer interaction, inventory duties, and key holder responsibilities, with competitive hourly compensation based on location and experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and DIY services.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock).
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
