Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert parts knowledge and high‑level customer service in a fast‑paced store. You will support DIY customers with battery tests, wiper installs, and parts lookups while maintaining inventory accuracy.

The role requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. ASE certification is preferred, and training on store systems will be provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability and familiarity with DIY services.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts.
