Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and parts sales. The role combines expert knowledge of store systems and automotive components with hands-on DIY service tasks for customers in-store or by phone.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in automotive parts, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel. ASE certification is preferred, with full-time hours and must be able to work varied days, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
