Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced functions of the DIY business. The role combines expert parts knowledge with store systems proficiency and strong customer service for both in-store and phone interactions.

The position requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; ASE certification is preferred. You will handle in-store tasks, inventory, and ensure service quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with experience fulfilling customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety instructions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes and back stock management.
• Maintain store cleanliness and operate inventory systems.
