Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. This professional role requires expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and DIY services to assist customers in person and by phone.

You will help locate parts, upsell accessories, and ensure accurate transactions while maintaining a clean, safe store environment. 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and ASE certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts sales and customer transactions.
• Ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
