Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions, with expert knowledge of parts and store systems. The role emphasizes advanced identification, trouble shooting, and sourcing from multiple channels for DIY customers.

Responsibilities include facilitating sales experiences, handling DIY services, and maintaining store standards. The candidate should have 3–5 years in automotive parts and a valid driver’s license; ASE is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
• English language skills required; Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
