Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert part knowledge and DIY service support. The role emphasizes GAS2 selling, customer interaction, and inventory control in a full-time store position.

The candidate will handle DIY services, contribute to sales goals, and maintain store standards while operating POS and parts lookup systems. ASE P2 certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability and customer transaction fulfillment.
• Knowledge of store inventory and service processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock).
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
