Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert automotive parts knowledge and high-level DIY services in store. The role requires 3–5 years in automotive parts and a valid driver’s license, with ASE certification preferred.

You will support GAS2 selling, achieve sales goals, perform battery testing/installation, and manage parts inventory while maintaining strong customer service and store standards. Flexibility for varied shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedures; write simple correspondence.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
