Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert parts knowledge and GAS2 selling skills to DIY customers in-store and by phone. You will help customers locate parts, perform basic services, and support sales goals while maintaining store standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, ASE certification is a plus, and a valid driver’s license. It involves working a mix of days, evenings, and weekends with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Must have strong sales ability and a history of fulfilling customer transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse customers.
• Able to locate and stock parts using store inventory systems.
• A sample of diagnostic equipment testing and service capability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
