Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert parts knowledge and high levels of customer service in our DIY-focused market. You will use store systems, perform diagnostics, assist with part sourcing, and support battery installation and other DIY services.

This full-time role requires strong automotive knowledge, ASE readiness, and the ability to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends. Valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with fulfillment of customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, parts catalogs, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock).
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
