Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert support for DIY projects, with strong knowledge of store systems, parts, and automotive systems.

You will assist customers in person and by phone, helping with parts lookups and advanced diagnostics in a busy retail environment. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver's license, and ASE certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• ASE P2 certification preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• English speaking and writing required; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read parts catalogs and operate store systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Operate POS and Parts lookup systems.
• Provide sourcing options and advanced product recommendations.
