Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Parts Pro in the United States to support advanced DIY sales, part knowledge, and store operations. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems, parts identification, and customer service in a full-time capacity.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver’s license, and ASE certification is preferred. The role involves reading safety rules, operating POS and inventory systems, and delivering high-quality customer

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and parts catalogs.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
