Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in the United States seeks a Retail Parts Pro with automotive parts expertise to support DIY customers in-store and by phone. You will handle advanced product identification, source parts, and oversee DIY services such as battery installs and testing.

The role requires 3–5 years of parts experience, strong knowledge of store systems, and ASE readiness. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, opening/closing).
• Assist in store inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock).
