Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert knowledge of automotive parts and store systems. The role emphasizes parts sourcing, advanced diagnostics, and hands-on DIY services such as battery installation and testing.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals and parts catalogs
• Demonstrated ability to locate and stock parts and operate inventory systems

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls
• Achieve sales and service objectives for the store
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Handle key holder duties including opening/closing and safety
