Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to assist customers with advanced DIY parts and service needs. You will diagnose requirements, source from multiple channels, and guide customers to the right solutions.

Responsibilities include performing DIY services, maintaining inventory, and upholding store appearance and safety. ASE P2 certification is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Proficient with parts catalogs and inventory systems.
• ASE certification preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
