Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in our U.S. stores. The role focuses on expert automotive parts knowledge, in-store service, and DIY project assistance.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong selling skills, and the ability to perform duties such as battery installations and diagnostic support. ASE certification is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required for service tasks.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Must have valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
