Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and parts sales in a full-time role. You will employ expert knowledge of store systems and automotive parts to assist customers in person and over the phone.

The position requires reading parts catalogs, operating POS and inventory systems, and providing accurate part selection and troubleshooting. A valid driver's license and ASE certification are preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years automotive parts experience
• Able to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
• Complete the Parts Knowledge Assessment
• Read and interpret parts catalogs and manuals

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers
• Achieve sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Assist in inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock
