Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is hiring a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY systems and part knowledge. The role requires strong customer service, parts lookup skills, and experience with store inventory and POS systems.

You will perform battery installations, testing, wiper installs, and other DIY services while maintaining store appearance and safety standards. A valid driver's license is necessary; ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• ASE P2 certification or ASE ready equivalent.
• Able to locate and stock parts with accuracy.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
