Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY sales and automotive parts knowledge. The role requires expertise in store systems, parts lookup, and customer service, with responsibilities including battery testing and installation and handling opening/closing tasks.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and a valid driver's license; ASE certification is preferred. The position is full-time and based at a retail store location.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts and sales roles is required or preferred.
• Must be able to read safety rules and manuals and explain information clearly.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
