Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge and in-store services. The role involves hands-on support, battery testing, wiper installs, and parts lookup to ensure accurate orders and fast service.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, proven sales ability, and basic computer skills (Word/Excel). A valid driver’s license is required; ASE certification is preferred and may be pursued on the job.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with past transactions
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities including opening/closing duties
