Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and parts knowledge in a full-time retail role across our stores in the United States.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong selling skills, familiarity with store systems, and ability to troubleshoot automotive components for customers. Responsibilities include assisting customers in-person and by phone, performing DIY services such as battery installations and inspections, and maintaining store

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with past experience in customer transactions
• Valid drivers license
• ASE certification preferred
• English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
