Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions and provide expert knowledge of store systems and automotive parts.

This full-time role emphasizes high-quality customer service, inventory management, and DIY service capabilities including battery installs and testing. The position requires strong product knowledge, ability to source parts from multiple channels, and proficiency with store equipment and POS systems.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions.
• Must have good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to read safety rules and manuals; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls.
• Meet personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Oversee DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (opening/closing, safety, task assignment).
• Assist in inventory processes including cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
