Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to join our team. This full-time role involves expert knowledge of automotive parts, store systems, and DIY services including battery installation and diagnostic support.

You’ll help customers in-store and over the phone, meet sales goals, and assist with inventory management. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with POS and parts lookup systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability and fulfillment experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and service manuals
• Strong knowledge of store inventory processes and automotive systems

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock)
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
