Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions and provide expert knowledge of store systems, parts, and automotive diagnostics. The role includes high-volume customer interaction, inventory management, and battery/wiper services.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong selling skills, and ASE certification is preferred. This full-time position requires availability on various days, including weekends, with opportunities

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience and proven sales ability
• Must have a valid driver’s license and basic automotive knowledge
• Experience fulfilling customer transactions and upselling parts

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
