Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers in a fast-paced store environment. The role centers on expert parts knowledge, automotive systems proficiency, and strong customer service to meet sales and service goals.

As a full-time position in our retail network, the associate will perform battery tests/ installations, parts lookups, and inventory duties while maintaining store standards and safety. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused selling using GAS2 principles and product knowledge.
• Ability to locate and source parts for DIY customers.
• Experience with automotive parts and diagnostics helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Meet sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Handle key holder responsibilities including safety and opening/closing duties.
