Imagine Children's Museum is seeking a Guest Services Attendant to help at the Divy’s Grab and Go area and service counter on the 3rd floor. You will assist with everyday operations, greet visitors, and ensure a clean, safe environment while managing basic cash handling and POS transactions.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking between kitchen and service areas, and the ability to work weekends and evenings in a lively, family-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Current Washington State Food Handlers Card provided or accessible.

Responsibilities

• Create a guest-ready atmosphere at the service counter and Commons area.
• Assist in daily opening and closing tasks as scheduled.
• Support guests on the 3rd floor and during events.
• Maintain a clean, safe Grab and Go environment per health standards.
• Collect Zip Code information as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

The Guest Services Attendant works with the public by facilitating POS transactions and food preparation at Divy’s Grab and Go.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

• Creating a \"guest ready\" atmosphere at the service counter and throughout the 3rd floor Commons Area
• Assist in the daily opening and closing tasks – scheduled and as needed
• Support the needs of guests on the 3rd floor
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the Grab and Go, this will include cleaning and maintenance that aligns with Museum and Snohomish County Health Department standards
• Collect Zip Code information
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements

Position Requirements:

• A friendly and outgoing personality that thrives being in an active and vibrant work environment
• Comfortable working with active children and families and redirecting behavior as necessary
• Attention to detail, particularly regarding health and safety standards and expectations
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable using a POS system and basic cash handling
• Adaptable to multi-tasking between the kitchen, service counter and Commons area
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to direct volunteers when needed
• Possess initiative and the ability to self-direct, not requiring continuous supervision
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and assigned tasks throughout the workday

Education and/or Experience:

• Customer service experience desired.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Current Washington State Food Handlers Card (Imagine will provide access to state training, if needed)

• High level of public contact.

This is a part-time position, onsite in Everett. The pay is $20 an hour. The schedule is 15-20 hours per week, including weekends, and evenings as required.
