Job summary

NCSY, a program of the Orthodox Union, seeks a Director of Finance / Divisional Controller to lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and planning for National, Summer, and regional operations. This role combines strong accounting with hands-on leadership in a multi-program environment.

The position requires senior finance leadership, excellent communication with senior leaders, and a focus on controls, program economics, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Senior finance leadership experience with monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Proven people leadership including performance management and team development.
• Experience in complex multi-program or nonprofit environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance team across National, Summer, and Regions; set priorities and standards.
• Own budget and planning; prepare materials for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive close and variance reporting with actionable updates for regional leaders.
• Forecast quarterly revenue and expenses; surface risks and opportunities early.
• Support grants and fundraising with budgets and reporting; ensure compliance.
