Caterpillar is seeking an executive DCIO to lead global IT for the Building Construction Products division, driving ERP/SAP and CRM transformations, manufacturing digitization, and enterprise IT enablement across multiple regions.

The role requires leading large-scale programs, shaping technology strategy, and building high‑performing global teams with a focus on cybersecurity, change leadership, and continuous improvement. This position is five days onsite in Cary, NC.

Qualifications

• Strategy development and execution for growth and transformation in global orgs.
• Leadership of large-scale transformation programs (ERP, CRM, changes).
• End-to-end IT workstreams for greenfield manufacturing facilities, including tech strategy and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver measurable business value through technology solutions aligned to growth strategy and objectives.
• Serve as senior IT partner to BCP leadership, accelerating performance and value.
• Lead all IT aspects of greenfield manufacturing facility development, including ERP deployment, cybersecurity and OT integrations.
• Lead global ERP (SAP) and CRM transformation programs across regions and sites.
• Partner with business leaders to drive SAP-enabled facility transformations globally.
• Create order, structure and execution discipline in complex environments.
• Drive digital transformation to modernize processes and enable scalable growth.
• Prioritize technology investments to meet strategic outcomes.
• Ensure operational stability and availability of critical technology services.
• Protect the business through cybersecurity, risk management and governance.
• Develop, coach and inspire global teams and leaders.
• Collaborate across Construction Industries, Caterpillar IT and enterprise teams.
