Job summary

Versique is seeking a General Manager to lead the Sioux Falls acquisition, directing a senior team including Marketing, Sales, Nutrition, Inside Sales, COO, and Vet Services. You will shape division strategy, drive performance, and ensure growth in line with corporate objectives.

The role requires strategic leadership, financial accountability, and a focus on customer-centric growth, with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Animal Science, Agriculture, Economics, Business, Sales & Marketing or related field
• Qualified and proven experience in lieu of educational requirements
• 5+ years of experience in leadership roles
• Ability to build a collaborative, motivating environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication in group settings and one-on-one
• Strong negotiating and decision-making skills
• Technical and technology-related skills

Responsibilities

• Set division strategy aligned with corporate goals and identify growth opportunities
• Own the division's P&L, budgets, forecasts, and capital allocation
• Drive collaboration and productivity across departments with clear metrics
• Build and lead the division's leadership team and succession plans
• Oversee sales, market focus, customer relationships, and branding
• Align division objectives with enterprise-wide strategies and governance
• Decide where to invest in new products, technology, and facilities
