Position Summary

United Electric Company is seeking a solutions-oriented, proactive Division Manager with a proven ability to plan, organize and deliver. This role requires a critical thinker and effective leader who can manage all aspects of the Utility Division, scheduling, manpower planning and subcontractor coordination. We offer an autonomous culture and an opportunity for a candidate to take control and build a division as they see fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operational and financial leadership of the Utility Division
• Hands on, Safety first operator
• Own Division P&L
• Manage fleet and equipment utilization
• Oversee project scheduling, manpower planning and subcontractor coordination
• Implement project controls, cost tracking, look ahead planning, scheduling etc

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in electrical utility management
• 5-10 years experience in electrical utility construction
• Ability to work with a union workforce
• Proven track record managing large-scale industrial or commercial projects
• Strong financial acumen and contract management experience
• Strong leadership presence
• Goal oriented
• Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels

Compensation

Commensurate with experience.
