Job summary

Hulcher Services Inc. seeks a Division Manager to lead division activities across production, distribution, and marketing operations, ensuring top customer service. The role involves directing staff, coordinating emergency responses, and optimizing field operations while maintaining safety and profitability.

Responsibilities include budgeting, equipment maintenance, staff development, and collaboration with customers and industry partners to grow services in the Lincoln, Nebraska area.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Extensive knowledge of state permit requirements and procedures.
• Three+ years of supervision of heavy mechanical equipment and field operations.
• Leadership experience in railroad or environmental industry with knowledge of railcar derailment operations and DOT drivers logs.
• Three+ years experience operating heavy mechanical equipment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements plans for derailment cleanup, track construction, and environmental services with efficient use of materials, machines, and staff.
• Maintains a safe, positive, and productive work environment and achieves safety, financial, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Schedules and coordinates assignments to meet customer demand for emergency and non-emergency bases.
• Meets with customers and industry reps to promote improved and expanded services in the area.
• Oversees maintenance and repair of field equipment and division facilities.
• Monitors production costs and quality, adjusting inventory and processes to enhance profitability.
• Hires, trains, supervises, evaluates performance, and orients staff.
• Ensures completion of administrative requirements for the division.
