Job summary

Odyssey Logistics is seeking a Director of IT to act as the technology leader for the division, aligning systems, infrastructure, and data strategy with business objectives and operations. This role defines a multi‑year technology roadmap to enhance productivity, data visibility, and scalability across transportation, warehousing, and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Business Admin or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in logistics or transportation environments
• Demonstrated experience leading major TMS or enterprise system implementations
• Strong strategic planning capabilities with ability to translate business objectives into a technology roadmap
• Experience in logistics, TMS, dispatch, and warehouse applications
• Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop strategies aligned with the organization’s objectives and drive IT vision across the division
• Management of IT Operations: Oversee day‑to‑day IT operations, services, and performance
• Project & Budget Management: Manage technology focus on projects and budget for operational and capital expenses
• Change Management & Operational Impact: Champion enterprise‑wide adoption of new technology and processes to minimize disruption
