Position Purpose:

The Division Information Technology (IT) Director provides strategic and operational leadership for the division’s IT organization, aligning technology strategy, services, and investments with divisional goals and the company’s enterprise IT direction. The role oversees enterprise business applications, enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications, application development, IT site support, networks & infrastructure, security, collaboration technologies, and end-user services to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions across manufacturing and business operations. As a member of divisional and enterprise IT leadership teams, the Director partners with business and IT stakeholders to drive technology initiatives, align roadmaps and standards, and ensure divisional priorities are effectively represented in enterprise planning and governance.

Essential Functions:

• Lead the division's IT organization, including enterprise business & resource planning applications, development, networks & infrastructure, and support teams, while fostering a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
• Develop and execute the divisional technology strategy and roadmap, aligning technology investments, capabilities, and initiatives with business objectives and enterprise IT direction.
• Partner with business and IT leaders to identify opportunities, solve operational challenges, drive innovation, and deliver technology solutions that improve performance, productivity, and customer value.
• Collaborate with Corporate IT and shared services to align architecture, cybersecurity, governance, standards, enterprise platforms, and technology investments across the organization.
• Oversee the delivery, security, availability, performance, and continuous improvement of applications, networks & infrastructure, data solutions, end-user services, networking, and collaboration technologies.
• Lead technology portfolio management, including demand intake, prioritization, budgeting, project execution, change management, and successful adoption of technology initiatives.
• Ensure effective cybersecurity, risk management, regulatory compliance, business continuity, disaster recovery, and adherence to enterprise policies, standards, and controls.
• Drive business process improvement, digital transformation, automation, analytics, data governance, and the adoption of emerging technologies across manufacturing and business operations.
• Manage IT financial performance, technology assets, software licensing, vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery to maximize value and operational efficiency.
• Establish performance metrics, monitor service levels, and lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Develop organizational capability through talent acquisition, coaching, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development.
• Represent divisional priorities in enterprise planning, governance, and cross-functional initiatives while communicating technology strategy, risks, performance, and investment decisions to leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, information systems, business technology, or a related field is required.
• A master’s degree in business administration, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Training in IT governance, service management, and project management methodologies is desirable.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 20 years of progressive IT experience is required.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time on an as needed basis is required.
• Experience in IT leadership, managing teams across infrastructure, applications, service delivery, and technology operations in a complex business environment.
• Knowledge and experience of ERP applications within the commercial vehicle industry.
• Experience developing and executing IT strategies, roadmaps, technology portfolios, and digital transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise applications, infrastructure, networking, cloud services, end-user computing, Microsoft technologies, collaboration platforms, cybersecurity, data integration, and IT service management.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, engineering, distribution, or similar operational environments.
• Ability to partner with business leaders, enterprise IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver technology solutions and organizational change.
• Experience managing cybersecurity, compliance, governance, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, software licensing, and technology assets.
• Experience managing IT budgets, technology investments, contracts, vendors, service providers, and service-level agreements.
• Strong leadership, business acumen, communication, relationship management, analytical, problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, site integrations, or other major business transitions preferred.
