Job summary

ITW's Warewash Division in Troy, OH is seeking a Division Human Resource Director to lead HR for the North American Warewash business. Reporting to the VP/GM, you will drive HR strategy, talent reviews, succession planning and labor relations across multiple sites.

You will coach leaders, ensure policy administration, training, onboarding, and compliance with federal/state laws, including oversight of the division's Affirmative Action Plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or Labor Relations (required).
• 10+ years of HR experience (required).
• Experience working with labor unions, including administering and negotiating collective bargaining agreements (preferred).
• Experience defining and administering HR policies (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of HR strategies to attract and retain talent.
• Lead grievance meetings/answer grievances.
• Lead and negotiate one of the Warewash plant facility’s labor contracts.
• Support negotiations for the Canadian operation’s labor contract.
• Lead talent reviews and succession planning processes.
• Continuously improve onboarding and training programs.
• Coach and provide consultation to managers and employees.
• Provide guidance to Plant HR managers regarding terminations, disciplinary actions, employee concerns, legal matters.
• Provide oversight for the division Affirmative Action Plan (AAP).
• Lead divisional workforce planning actions.
• Provide sound advice as a trusted partner to the senior leadership team.
• Ensure legal compliance with federal and state laws.
