Job summary

Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 250 leader in motion and control technologies, seeks an EHS leader to drive environmental health and safety initiatives across a division in the United States. You will develop programs, coordinate training, and oversee audits to ensure regulatory compliance and safer operations.

Reporting to the General Manager or Operations Manager, you will supervise EHS coordinators, manage EPA/OSHA actions, and chair ISO committees where applicable, while aligning with Lean, HR,

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical field with relevant experience.
• Lead Auditor or IS14001 training or certification.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ergonomics and behavior-based safety experience a plus.
• 5+ years of applicable experience.
• Ability to travel and work out of the office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS programs and procedures to meet division objectives and targets.
• Coordinate all EHS training.
• Support corrective actions from Corporate EHS audits.
• Onsite contact for Corporate EHS; manage EPA actions (NOVs, cleanups, complaints).
• Onsite contact for Corporate EHS; manage OSHA actions (inspections, noncompliance).
• Direct EHS reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain EHS records and ensure policy compliance.
• Chair ISO 14000/18000 Committees (if applicable).
• Support customer EHS requirements (e.g. IMDS).
• Integrate EHS into Lean, HR, and Supply Chain efforts.
