Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an experienced EHS Leader in the Mooresville area to oversee all aspects of environment, health, and safety. You will report to the General Manager or Operations Manager and supervise EHS coordinators on site.

The role requires developing programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in safety and sustainability. Key responsibilities include coordinating EHS training, managing audits and EPA/OSHA actions, and reporting metrics to division

Qualifications

• BS Degree in a technical field, preferably EHS (extensive CEUs or associates degree possibly acceptable).
• Lead Auditor or internal trained in IS14001.
• Strong working knowledge of EHS regulations.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of applicable experience.
• Ability to travel and work out of the office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS programs and procedures to meet division objectives.
• Focus on Accident Prevention and Regulatory Compliance.
• Lead energy management and waste minimization initiatives.
• Coordinate EHS training and audit responses.
• Manage EPA/OSHA actions under Corporate direction.
• Report EHS metrics and maintain records.
• Chair EHS committees and support customer EHS requirements.
