University of California San Diego is seeking an Associate or Full Professor to serve as Division Director of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. This leadership role combines clinical supervision, research oversight, and educational leadership within a premier academic health system.

The position emphasizes strategic growth of REI services, IVF and fertility preservation programs, and collaboration across basic science, engineering, and population health.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree.
• Board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI).
• Current clinical practice across the full REI spectrum.
• At least five years of clinical REI experience.
• At least 40 peer‑reviewed publications.
• Five years of leadership and five years in an academic medical center.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision and lead the REI division.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across clinical care, research, and education.
• Mentor faculty, fellows, residents, and students.
• Maintain active clinical practice while leading innovative REI research initiatives.
• Support program expansion and faculty development within UC San Diego Health.
