Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. in Fort Collins, Colorado seeks a Division Manager to oversee civil engineering, construction management, utilities and telecommunications programs.

You will supervise engineers, construction managers, technicians and inspectors, guiding project health, budgets, and client satisfaction. The role requires senior leadership with a focus on growth, strategy, and profitability, coordinating with the Director and senior staff to deliver high-quality results across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado.
• Minimum 15 years of increasingly responsible experience in engineering and construction with emphasis in project/construction management and budget control.
• Experience in public projects and utility sector engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor staff and foster growth.
• Ability to prepare budgets, proposals and manage contracts and project costs.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs within civil engineering, construction management, utilities and telecommunications.
• Supervise engineers, construction managers, technicians, inspectors and other staff.
• Develop and monitor program budgets for internal and external clients.
• Present at conferences and trade shows, write papers and participate in grant initiatives.
• Oversee on-site and off-site project management and supervision of field staff.
• Provide direct supervision to assigned staff and department goals.
• Set departmental objectives and report progress and milestones.
• Manage client problems escalated to leadership and maintain client satisfaction.
• Produce and use reports for departmental management and project health.
• Coordinate with internal operations to support timely implementation of large projects.
• Assist in engineering design and review related to project delivery.
• Research databases and records to support company initiatives and programs.
• Design and implement broad quality assurance and control programs.
