Job summary

Pave America, a national construction company, seeks a Division Controller to lead financial operations and consolidate reporting to the Regional CFO. The role requires hands-on experience with Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and WIP accounting, and strong GAAP discipline.

You will manage accounts, prepare cashflow forecasts, supervise staff, and implement internal controls while collaborating with Sales & Operations to optimize DSO and drive budgeting outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in a senior-level accounting role in the construction industry.
• Must be able to demonstrate advanced Excel skills. Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points.
• Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscapes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
• Help manage budgeting goals with proper scheduling and analysis.
