STLRecruit is seeking a Controller for a rapidly growing division of a well-capitalized organization. You will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, controls, and process improvements across the division.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with public accounting and industry background.

The company offers a collaborative, high-performance culture led by an accomplished CFO with exceptional leadership stability and very low turnover.

Position Summary

The Controller will serve as a key finance leader responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, controls, and process improvement initiatives across the division.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity.
• Develop a deep understanding of the business drivers behind the balance sheet and income statement, including the underlying operational and system-generated data.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, and executive leadership to improve visibility, reporting accuracy, and decision-making.
• Evaluate and enhance ERP, reporting, analytical, and other technology and related processes.
• Drive process improvement initiatives that support scalability in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience preferred with a blend of public accounting and industry experience ideal.
• High-potential candidates directly from Public Accounting will also be considered.
• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and leadership capabilities.
• Intellectually curious with the ability to understand ERP systems, analytics, technology, and the operational processes behind the numbers.
• Self-directed leader who thrives in an environment with autonomy and no micromanagement.
