Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks an Administrative Officer 5 to lead the Division of Program Initiatives, Grants, and Training. You will guide strategic initiatives, oversee governance, and drive performance analytics to support DMVA priorities.

You will report to executive leadership, manage resources, and collaborate with internal and external partners to advance modernization and organizational development.

Qualifications

• One year as Administrative Officer 4 or eight years of progressive management experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Degree in a four-year college or university is acceptable as part of the experience/training mix.
• Ability to pass a background check for access to federal networks.

Responsibilities

• Direct division operations, set priorities, allocate resources, and oversee performance across program areas.
• Guide enterprise projects that improve organizational effectiveness and workforce readiness.
• Lead modernization efforts, workforce development, and collaboration across teams.
• Manage grants governance, administrative standards, compliance, and performance expectations.
• Develop analytics, dashboards, and metrics to assess trends and drive improvements.
• Prepare briefings and provide strategic guidance to DMVA executives and partners.
